Community Panelist experienced cultural professionals committed to developing the arts and culture in their Queens community. Each QCA panelist knows Queens communities and expertise in an artistic discipline, arts administration, or community arts programming.
The artists chosen presented a fresh perspective by creating work that speaks to the cultural diversity of Downtown Far Rockaway Queens by bringing a more vibrant and welcoming feel to our Rockaway community. As the Rockaway community undergoes revitalization and challenges due to COVID-19, the community continues to grow. The need to further enhance the communities’ economic growth through neighborhood promotions and financial resources for public improvements.
