RDRC/Interise Amplify Queens StreetWise MBA Champions
Launched, May 25th 2020, the Amplify Queens StreetWise MBA Program, designed to advance Queens Businesses economic growth, is coming to an end. The seven-month program, powered by Interise, with the financial support of Santander Bank, provided the methodologies, resources and tools for Queens-based small business owners wanting to get out of isolation, work on their business (not just in it), and pivot to the next level, did just that for 13 businesses.

On Tuesday, March 23rd, guest experts included: Brian Yeung, Business AdvisorYork College SBDC; Kimberly Hardy, Director of MWBE Participation-PMO, JFK New Terminal One; Nancy Fox, Grants Manager, Episcopal Health Services Inc St. John’s Episcopal Hospital; Deborah Mackler-Gordon, Director of Construction, Episcopal Health Services Inc. St. John’s Episcopal Hospital; and Wayne Green, a guest expert on procurement, gave businesses resources, strategies, insights, motivation, and individualized Strategic Growth Action Plans, outlining the actions and steps required to achieve their business goals.
The program’s foundation lies in Interise’s StreetWise ‘MBA’™, a nationally recognized, award-winning curriculum designed to accelerate existing small businesses’ growth, using a peer-learning method, industry experts, business peers, with instructor insights and strategies, to provide small business owners with the knowledge, know-how, and networks necessary to grow and scale.
