Odessa’s Event Planning “1st Annual Rockaways Halloween Trunk or Treat”/In-Partnership w/Rockaways Hip Hop Community Committee: Trunk-or-Treating, is simple: Odessa’s Event Planning along with the Rockaway Hip Hop Community Committee, the NYPD 101st Precinct Community Affairs, and a host of Rockaway Community Businesses, collectively rounded up parents with cars, or trucks to deck their trunks with Halloween decorations, similar to “Pimp My Ride”. The event, held Saturday, October 31st from 2pm- 5pm, at the Papa John’s Pizza parking lot, located at 49-01 Beach Channel Drive, in Far Rockaway, NY, is for the kid’s ages 2-11 to dress up in their fav goolie Halloween costumes; while meandering from car to car, collecting candies and all sorts of Halloween goodies.

Friends of Diversity Plaza 37th Road: Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony 2020
Diversity Plaza 37th Road/RDRC: RDRC in is excited to share as a recipient of the NYC Green Relief & Recovery Fund administered by City Parks Foundation in partnership with Friends of Diversity Plaza 37th Road – managed by Bill Meehan and Eirik Gislason, a coalition of neighborhood organizers and activists – formed with the mission of protecting and promoting Diversity Plaza in its infancy, and to help make it an accessible and welcoming space for the entire community. The NYC Green Relief & Recovery Campaign, effective as of July 1, 2020, to June 30, 2021, to host various activities at the Plaza located at 37th Road Diversity Plaza (73rd Street and Roosevelt Avenue – Jackson Heights, Queens).
