On, Saturday, October 31st, Odessa’s Event Planning partnered with the Rockaway Hip Hop Community Committee, and the NYPD 101st Precinct, hosted the 1st Annual Trunk or Treat, at the Popa John’s Pizza parking lot, located at 49-10 BCD in Far Rockaway. The Rockaway residents decorated the back of their cars for Halloween; the cars loaded up with bags of candy and toys for kids to “trick or treat. The kids were fully dressed in Halloween costumes and holding out their bags or plastic pumpkins for treats.
The event was safe and fun, while our very own 101st Precinct participated, to assure safety for kids to run, dance, and enjoy the Halloween festivity.
There were prizes for the best trunk and costume: 1st place went to Hamilton, 2nd place went to Odessa Wilson, and 3rd place went to “yours truly” RDRC, children’s movie Frozen, staff car deecoratedwho decorated staff member car from the children’s move “Frozen”.
