Youth Leadeship Initiative

RDRC's leadership program allows young people to participate in the revitalization of their neighborhood.  The program is created as a tool to empower youth to explore solutions that will address the issues that young people face within the Rockaway community.  The curriculum emphasizes leadership skills and teamwork.  Students will utilize these skills by organizing various civic activities and events.  The objective is to show the young people that they can play and active and productive role in the improvement of their community.
